The other night we went out to eat at a casual burger restaurant. We arrived early, thinking it'd be a quick in-out. The place was mobbed. Once we were seated, we were told that the crowd was due to The Wiggles being in town. I nodded like I knew what the heck they were talking about. All I know is that I had to scrounge up a high chair from another table because they were all in use by Wiggle fans.
So today I poked around online and found out that The Wiggles originate from Australia. They do music, videos and tv shows for children. Yes, apparently I live under a rock. Maybe Santa will bring us some Wiggle music this year.
So, ... What's a good video or album to start with, parents of Wiggle fans?
Also, please tell me that The Wiggles aren't as annoying as Elmo! Please!

Anything that sings for kids must be annoying. ;-) If only because you have to hear it 300 times. My kids like Yummy Yummy and Space Dancing.
My kids like "fruit salad yummy yummy" and "ahoy captain feathersword" and this one that they know the dance moves to...
The songs are all rather the same and not completely annoying. We have the wiggles meet the crocodile hunter tape, and they like it.

Hey! The Wiggles are pretty damn annoying. Clone loves those Ausie Bastards! I can't get half of their songs out of my head.
Singing: Flap your arms just like a birdie... chirpy, chirpy. Chirpy cheep cheep cheep.
my kid absolutely loves the wiggles. My husband and I know every song. Oh, and dance too!
But, they do a bit of educational stuff and my kid learned fruits and how to begin to count from them. He also learned to wash his hands. he loves to wash his hands. . .

The Wiggle's aren't bad to listen to, plus I swear if I danced with the Wiggles through a 30 minute video I would lose this extra poundage.. Even the rootin tootin tough guy of a husband doesn't mind em......
I don't even have kids and I'd stop and watch them on the Disney channel. They're pretty good. Fun, and don't talk down to kids.
Where's the laughs?
Every Wednesday I look forward to going over to VW’s to get my “Humor for the Dreaded Wednesday”. Upon arriving at One Happy Dog Speaks today, I discover no humor. Wait… how can this be?! My morning ground to a...
How did you not know who the Wiggles were? Too funny. I don't think they are too annoying... then again, we don't watch them much!
OK, we'll check 'em out. Yes, I truly do live under a rock... or at least a place without the Disney channel! ;-)
Ok, I'm laughing because I'm 24 with no kids and know who the Wiggles are!
Hmmm...maybe I should have admitted that :-)
