One of those days

Ever have one of those days. I’m talking about one that just seems strange. Good things, bad things, they all seem to out of proportion. Yesterday was one of those days.

I had a great time at breakfast with Bou. Laughed at the kids and some of the stuff going on in our lives. Got home, put #1 Son down for a nap and when he woke up he was running a fever of 103. He had caught a cold. #2 Son was in a great mood and wanting to play play play. Talked to my Mom (MaMaw) and she was on the way to the emergency room with my Dad (Papa). Later in the day, I seemed to get the cold. Ugh. Then that night my sister called to say they are admitting Papa to the Hospital. They don’t know what is wrong and I will update everyone when we find out. Shortly afterwards in the living room, #2 Son started to dance. It was hilarious. He had his hands out in front pointing his fingers like he was saying #1 and then moving up and down. If I did that many squats that fast I would not be able to walk for 3 days.

I give. Some days are better than others and some are just ‘one of those days’.

Well I have broken the security perimeter with Son#2 now that he let me hold him AND smooch on him. And I succeeded in not puking all over with the antics of Son#1. *grin* A major feat we both know! Now I just have to see the dance. Hopefully soon.

Calls coming your way... as you know.
