Breakfast Anyone?

This is getting out of hand. Tot had 2 bowls of oatmeal, one scrambled egg (ate most of it), a piece of toast (ate half)and drank milk. Tater ate one bowl of oatmeal, two scrambled eggs, a piece of toast and one waffle and milk. Please tell me that they won't be eating that much more when they get older. I'll be selling the house just to buy food.

It gets much, much worse.

I hate to tell you, but it will only get worse. Wait till they have a big dinner, then an hour later go back for ice cream, cereal, or something else.

Oh, it gets worse. ES can put away 3 sloppy joes, 2 helpings of corn, a couple bags of chips, milk, juice and dessert then be hungry again in an hour!

Hollow leg syndrome I call it:)

Just be glad you don't have FOUR of them, all in or entering the "Terrifying TEENS!"

We empty at least a GALLON of milk every day... The fridge is empty seemingly within hours of returning from the store with $200 worth of 'stuff'... And then we hear a growing chorus of "I'm hungry! What do we have to eat?"

So my advice: Don't make any sudden movements, just ease yourself toward an exit, and when little eyes are distracted... RUN!

;o)

You might consider getting bicycle locks for the cabinets and refrigerator before they become teenagers. Otherwise you may find that what you had planned on fixing for dinner was devoured as a midnight snack the night before.

Or just tell them that all you got from the grocery was maggots.
