Still Alive

I am not sure why the tomato plant is still alive... but it keeps on ticking. It has great tasting tomatoes! My neighbor has gotten to were he hops the fence and takes a few. Even he doesn't understand why it hasn't stopped producing by now.

Yaa it looks horrible...

Only other problem is that the squirrels have discovered them as well. Sigh...

I had a tomato plant last year. It produced one very tasty tomato. One. Hubby likes to mock me for how much that plant cost (seeds, dirt, pot) and how expensive my one tomato was.

I'll try again this year.

Who cares what it looks like as long as it has good 'maters'? I try to keep the dead stuff cut off mine but I don't reckon it makes any difference to the plant..hell, the dead debree provides some shade on a hot afternoon to the fruit and might help keep it from blistering

These plants are from last summer? That is awesome!! Can't wait to have good tomatoes again up north.
