Sandhill Cranes
In our neighbor's yard, 2 Sandhill Cranes came in and stopped by. They were within 16 feet of me at one point. I couldn't resist taking pictures... Since there are so many, I have them in the extended entry (press More Pawprints to see them). The last picture will have Tot at the fence near them.

Glad you got to see them, they are ussually really spooked by people. I have drug Dear Husband out for weekends at a darn time all over the state of Nebraska...only to watch them from the car with binoculors......
